Understood, and I much appreciate your response.
My point is, that
was the case. It is no longer the case. "Old news," in other words. Other Miles & More Hotel partners have restored the transfers to Miles & More. AFAIK, Lufthansa is no longer asking to suspend it (I am guessing that the court case LH was battling in Germany re: M&M mile value in Euros is now over). So my question is, why does Marriott still have it suspended, when other M&M Hotel Partners have restored it?
For example, see here on the Radisson Rewards transfers page:
https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us...s/redeem/miles
or
https://www.radissonhotelsamericas.c...s/redeem/miles
Miles & More transfers are there, live in Americas (log-in and you'll see the transfer options), "coming soon" in Europe. Other M&M Hotel Partners have restored the transfers to M&M and transfers to M&M are live with others who used to have it, just not with Marriott.
Would it be possible for you to check in with your liaison at Lufthansa to confirm that you can re-enable the transfers to Miles & More, as their other Hotel Partners have done so already? And if not, then at least find out why other Hotel Partners can offer transfers to M&M, but Marriott cannot.
