I agree 100%. Mainly because, at the beginning of covid when it actually wasn't that bad compared to now, the rental car place I always get my rental cars from meticulously wiped down the steering wheel with wipes and opened all the interior compartments with wipes and didn't allow anyone inside. Now, that the cases are even higher and has been since last winter, they do nothing. No masks, no gloves, no wipes, nothing.

Hotels, same thing. No extra precautions. They enter one guest room with the same dirty rag and not even spraying disinfectant. It's all a joke. I clean my own room when I arrive and throughout. One canister of Clorox or Lysol wipes does the job for everything.
