The company that supplys those chocolates (Aster Chocolate) has let most of its employees go.

Chocolate has followed Daily Housekeeping, with thee xcuse its that way due to Covid. I found that anything that will save a hotel $$ is discontinued due to Covid, and anything that might be best followed due to Covid if it will cost the hotel $$ isnt. eg Valet shouldnt they change gloves every time they get into or out of a car and into the next car, yep no different then a person in a restaurant. But that will cost the hotel $$ and not save it any $$, so therefore we dont need to do that, Next Housekeeping, if we can do away with cleaning and restocking a room Daily taht will save alot of $$ thusly Housekeeping wont be done on a daily basis due to Covid

Whens the last time you saw a pen and pad in a hotel room, again it saves them $$$ . My gut tells me except maybe for a 6* Hotel when things get back to normal, the hotels will see what they saved by eliminating stuff and simply will leave it as is in order to increase the profits and come up with some Lame excuse why this is the new normal
