I have received "pillow chocolates" at two properties this year - one Hyatt (Thompson San Antonio), and one Bonvoy (Ritz-Carlton Georgetown). Both seemed to be part of the normal turndown service routine.

In my opinion, it's hard to beat ending off the day with a nice piece of dark chocolate.
