compete on price with WN and B6. No, B6 CAN'T get us from DFW to NYC...
yet. (I'm not sure WN will EVER be able to because of the Write Amendment.) Getting back to my post here and your response, AA can have all of your listed "advantages" and more and they are STILL going to have to compete on PRICE with WN and B6 on a large percentage of AA's domestic route structure. Maybe not a majority but still large enough to matter and too large to ignore. AA management has recognized for a long time that pax simply will not pay a large enough fare premium for the premium features that you list to support AA's bloated legacy cost structure.
