One of the published benefits for the Visa Infinite Privilege card is Priority Airport Upgrades for cardholder and
up to 8 travel companions on the same reservation.
When does one get to be on standby for an airport upgrade with more than 1 or 2 companions ? I thought you can only upgrade 1 companion using eUpgrade credits, and 1 extra companion if you're Super Elite and designate an the extra companion as eUpgrade nominee.

Receive higher priority for airport upgrades. Primary Cardholders or Additional Cardholders with Aeroplan Elite Status, and companions (up to eight) travelling on the same reservation get higher priority when you‘re on standby for an upgrade at the airport on Air Canada flights. Should a seat become available, you will be assigned it before members who have the same status but don’t hold an eligible Aeroplan credit card.
