Hi all. I just booked JFK - IST today, flying later tonight and obviously too late to confirm a vegetarian meal. When I called to ask, they told me there is a fee for submitting a special request (could not confirm I would get the meal, just a fee to request it). I've never flown TK before so I was wondering if they generally have a vegetarian meal available as one of the options? I usually fly EK or EY and their standard is to have one veg meal and one/two non veg options catered even without requesting it - so I was wondering if that is the same case on TK? Still going to take some food with me just in case, but wanted to see if anyone knew.
