is AA checking in system malfunctioning right now?
Completed check in process, but no boarding pass. and "Check in" button still functioning on the reservation page. Anyone else? or is it just me....
Update, inside security, got bp, details below, in case future people of internet runs into same problems.
Details
Domestic basic economy on American eagle (mesa). This is returning leg, previous leg has no problem.
Checked in through app, aa website (tried both Firefox and edge). Everything seems alright until last step, when it supposed to generate a BP and a seat assignment. After loading, I'm told I have "checked in", but need to print pass at kios, pass security, then get seat at the gate. I would note here that only seat available seems to be exit seats.
Button for check in still available on app, and webpage, so I did this 20 plus times.
I called AA rep, who said on their end, they don't see me checking in.
I drove to the airport, ticket counter printed me a pass without seat assignment again. Even though I was supposed to get a seat "during check in".
At this point, check in button still available on website and app, so I tried another dozen times.
This morning, non-exit seat opened up, so I bought a cheap seat. Tried to check in again, same old problem.
Got to airport early, in case I have sssssss, I didn't. Walked up to an AA counter inside security, they printed me a BP with seat (that I purchased). Instantly, app's check in button disappeared, replaced with bp button.
I hope this is a one time glitch, coz it would be very unpleasant if this happens every time. Fingers crossed for my next flight in a few days.
