Why am I unable to accept a change to a flight?
I have a MAD-LHR-NCL booking in J. Booked directly with BA.
BA informed me that the MAD-LHR leg has changed by a whopping 5 minutes (and as an added bonus changed to the A380) and that the LHR-NCL leg the next morning has been cancelled and I am now on the earlier flight that morning. Not an issue at all. The email states I will “…need to confirm that you want to travel on the new flights”.
Logging in to MMB (both on phone and desktop) to confirm and accept this I am told that “We’re sorry that your flight to Newcastle has been cancelled. We’ve gone ahead and booked you onto the next available flight” and again informed that “You can review and accept this itinerary or find a different flight”.
However the only options available for me on the page are to cancel the booking or search for new flights. I am unable to progress beyond this page, therefore unable to accept the changes or go in to the booking to change seats or anything. The change was notified 11 days again now and it’s been the same every time I have tried.
