Even an upper mid level fare PAX could end up with free drinks and a meal in Y. The once a year cheap cheap fare folks will pay fees for everything single thing they do. Chits do not expire so if you get stuck on a $1,500 fare on week and grab at $125 Internet deal the next week you can still take care of your needs on that cheap ticket even though you will get no chits for that.
