Having gone round and round in circles with Amex trying to get a chargeback processed on a flight that Vueling actually cancelled but then didn’t offer a cash refund on I don’t understand how Ryanair ended up in this mess? Simply refusing the chargeback and pointing to a bit of their Ts&Cs that didn’t actually say what they were claiming it was saying was enough for Amex to come down on Vueling’s side (despite EU law not being in agreement with them) so I struggle to see how Ryanair couldn’t have sorted it here.
