I have two 35K certs. I'll try calling mid-November. I've been trying to find a Category 5 (35,000 std award) redemption at an interesting locale, but all of those properties have peak redemptions (40K). I stayed (paid) at a Category 5 not too long ago, it too required a peak redemption, and it was a ghost town. So I guess more money grabs and less customer orientation! If these can't be extended, I'll likely drop my two Chase Marriott cards.
