AA has a status-extension promotion ending on Dec. 15 based on Citi AA CC spending, and my statements usually but not always close on the 15th of the month. Am I correct that Citi’s methodology is to always close on the same day of a month unless that day falls on a weekend or holiday, in which case the billing period closes on the next business day?

Hoping to wrap up the spending by Nov. 15 but a large purchase might not post by then, so I need to be sure in advance that my Dec. statement will close on the 15th (a weekday), assuming it’s predictable. Thanks very much.
