An update to my earlier email:
I was able to access our account only at the 24-hour Point when it was time to check in but was unable to upload documents to Lufthansa. We got to the airport 2 1/2 hours before and had virtually no line as we had business class tickets. The check in process went smoothly and quickly when I showed them printouts of our Covid tests. It couldn’t have gone any easier once I accepted the fact that we had to present ourselves to the check in counter.
