I normally fly out of Gib to London to US rtn every other month. This time I am going Malaga to LHR to US one way with BA and going to return to Spain via AMS on Delta skipping UK altogether. BA prices seem to have gone crazy and flights I am looking at seem much fuller than usual.

From what I am seeing there are less actual flights being scheduled into AGP and GIB for later this year from UK than usual hence less seats and higher prices. I just paid over 250 from AGP to LHR one way in early Nov and some days/flights tickets were coming up at 500 plus one way!

Walking thru the GIB border has others have said is very easy but I am seeing the tickets from GIB also have skyrocketed in price so not sure if it makes much difference. Another option I have done often is to take Renfe to MAD from Malaga.
