With Thailand opening and lifting quarantines for vaccinated visitors as of November 1, I'm planning a trip for December. Business class fares are running $14,500-$17,000 for all options -- even the popular US-NRT connecting to NH codeshare NRT-BKK. I talked to GS, and they said it's been this way for a while and there's no information on fares coming down to normal levels (~$5K-$7K). I'm looking at going via LH/LX over Europe, and even SQ via JFK-SIN non-stop or JFK-FRA-SIN. Both those options are $6K-8K. Looks like I'll choose one of those.
