I had a very nice stay at the Thompson Washington this week. Globalist breakfast is now via Butler; they give you certificates with a code that you enter online when you order, and the certs are good for one breakfast main or sandwich, and one beverage. Delivery does take some time so pre-ordering is a good idea, and one day my food was lukewarm. Based on the text messages, the food is spending over 30 minutes in transit. (Free) coffee and pastries are also set out downstairs by the lobby bar.

Maialino Mare is open and the food is excellent. Proof of vaccination is required. However, both restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

I was upgraded to a Junior Suite. The hard product is very nice, although I'd prefer a larger working space.

The Thompson is offering some pretty attractive rates so with the return of a real breakfast, I'm much more-willing to consider them.
