I am reaching out on behalf of a friend who just flew TK to KUL. Upon arrival, she found that the bag was damaged, but because of current situation at the airport where everyone goes into quarantine - she was not able to find a TK rep to file a report and tried to do this online. TK has responded that since no report was made upon arrival, they will not offer any compensation/pay for the repair.
I was just wondering if there is somewhere else to further escalate this within TK?

Unfortunately, that friend should have reported the situation at KUL.
If he has travel insurance, he could contact them.
TK is unlikely to do something on cases which are not reported at the airport and do not have an irregularity report.
