From a quality perspective, definitely interested in the availability of "nicer" flights including the lie flats.
Nope, it doesn't but AS miles you can burn for AA flights/OW flights. Plus excellent mileage redemption options on AS, and great earn.

Yes, indeed AA flies the most to south america lie fllats. its the #1 reason I pick them

For EX lets look at Colombia, which a poster just said only gets recliners. FALSE. AA operates by far the most widebodies, with 4 flights DAILY from MIA widebody to Colombia ALONE. MIA-BOG 2x, MIA-CLO, MIA-MDE.

Same with Peru. They have daily widebodies from MIA and DFW.

UA/DL doesn't. Trust me, I did a ton of research for who flies the most widebodies to South America, and AA wins. It's why I chose them.

1-2-1 biz on AA is WAY better than the 2-2-2 crap you'll be stuck on UA from ORD/EWR IF you even get a widebody.

DL flies the old ugly delta one to Northern South AM, you won't get the new suites from MSP/ATL/JFK, IF you even get a widebody.

Plus, Flagship lounges are currently open at MIA/JFK. Polaris are not. This is of course just for the present but I'm enjoying every second of being with AA compared to UA/DL currently.
