Minor, pedantic quibble: Air Japan is lower-cost intra-Asia I believe, not necessarily short-haul, e.g., they have operated >2500mi flights.
But anyway, they are a subsidiary of ANA, and as you said flights post just as if they were on ANA (when you ticket 016, at least; there can be foibles if ticketed otherwise).
