I booked a couple of hotel stays on Chase Travel using my CSP. Normally I try to avoid Expedia due previous bad experiences, but those were cheap stays that I would have booked with an OTA anyway, so I might as well book it with chase for the 5x UR.
Anyway, today I received a $50 credit for "ANNUAL HOTEL CREDIT". I signed up for the CSP during the 100K bonus promotion and was very surprised to get the credit. The benefit description is very specific that the benefit will be applied after the next anniversary, but apparently not. I signed up for the CSP before the benefit was introduced, so I was only expecting to get it next year. Obviously I'm not complaining, my effective annual fee is now $45.
