So my work put me at one of the Courtyard property 5 days/week and I just recently made Titanium Elite...I have always tell them there will be 2 person in the room when I checked in and I always picked $10/person/day welcome gift and I almost always used up to $20 for market items and sometime breakfast within my elite benefits. I have never had issues until just now the GM at the hotel denied me using second $10 coupon unless I physically bringing the other "guest" to her in order to redeem the coupon. Not sure if that has something to do with my company rate, but I never had issues with other hotel employee for ordering up to $20 without the other "guest" physically present. Not sure what Marriott's policy stands, but from I believe, I don't think I need to physically bring another guest to GM in order to exercise what I am entitle for. Has anyone had same or similar issue before?
