We spent a long weekend here a week ago using points. No upgrade given and the agent was trying to convince me that the availability of higher category rooms that I see on the app was a mirage. We did not push and just accepted the standard room. The room was very nice and spacious. Not sure what an upgrade would look like apart from a better view. The breakfast benefit was OK. 50 dollars covers breakfast for 2 as the portions are huge and one omelet with a side order of bacon/sausage is more than enough, Room service takes a while - on the first morning we waited for over an hour. Overall, we left happy as we liked the location and the room was very spacious. Even without an upgrade there are no bad/small rooms at the hotel.
