edit - just seen that in their web they offer premium rooms that have been renovated recently
I ended up extending my stay at the St. Regis Cairo (which I have VERY mixed feelings about) for 1 night instead of staying at the Conrad. Kind of regret it, but I think you answered your own question ☺️ Good luck! The Shanghai Tang toiletries are by far my favorite and would have been the main reason for staying, haha.
