Basically only chose the CAA, because we wanted to try out something new.
The first time I stayed there, was given a suite that time also, it was very noisy, and of course, outside on Erie St, it's quite noisy with frequent ambulances coming in. This time, I had a suite away from Erie and I didn't notice any noise.

Breakfast was offered either with the buffet OR the menu, but it was Sat morning so not sure what they did on the weekdays. I did the buffet as it had plenty of selections, and I was doing mostly fruits anyway, though their pork sausage was really good too, so it was quicker and easier.

Definitely warmed up to the location, though in my "brands run" this past long weekend (5 brands in 5 nights with Hyatt Rosemont as I got in later on Thursday, Centric MM, CAA, Thompson, and HH Schaumburg to get an earlier flight to SFO,) I would rate the Thompson as the best.
