Yes, with emphasis on VERY frequent.
In previous years BW points lingered for sale for weeks. This year they won't come close to selling out. You are buying a 10% to 20% discount for a non-earning stay. You would have to be planning many, many BW stays to make the math work out well enough to risk devaluation.
Yeah, I'm OK with only 10 or 15% of a chain's hotels being good redemption values (if they're VERY good redemption values!) because that's good enough for me to utilize given my frequent travel schedule. With BW, I don't see the Daily Getaways price to meet that standard -- unless I'm missing something. Like with Choice, I get a few Ascend hotels on points for 1/4 their lowest published rates. I don't see anything like that on BW. I found one hotel where I might save 10 bucks.
