As a keen user of the in seat power plug on SH, it’s a pretty regular occurrence that I find myself asking (reminding) the in charge crew member to turn on the seat power. This conversation normally occurs just as the scones are being readied for the CE Afternoon Tea service, etc etc.

Anyway, on my ABZ on Saturday, when I asked as usual for it to be turned on, I was told firstly that it “wasn’t working on here” - fine I thought, might well be u/s on this aircraft. I double checked however if this was the case, only to be told that, “it’s not being used just now, there’s been a recent incident with it onboard”.

Anyone else had similar experiences on SH?

for the record , I was on a non-NEO burd, not that I think that matters particularly.
