I love Mexico City! It has gotten so much better without the choking smog and it's rapidly becoming a hot tourist destination.
The Sheraton had a promotion going on.. $88 a night with breakfast so I went for that one. I usually prefer the local hotels, they always throw in freebies such as parking and breakfast, not the American chains.
As for driving, I watched this...
I would rather spend $95 for a three-day rental. Just about all the taxis are the Nissan Tsuru, or brand-new 25-year-old Nissan Sentras that will crush like an empty soda can. I am not that brave!
