Hello. I'm a Bonvoy AMEX card holder (upgraded from the old SPG AMEX) who received an upgrade offer to the Bonvoy Brilliant card. I'm also fifteen nights away from Platinum.

I received my fifteen awards nights for 2021 on my card anniversary month (April). Based on my reading, if I was to upgrade today I wouldn't receive another 15 award award nights until next years card anniversary month (eg October 2022), as opposed to on sign up? Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
