Lots of dining options. Here's the local business association website that lists restaurants. Just be aware that Fort Lauderdale Beach stretches across roughly 2 miles. So, not everything on this will be within easy walking distance of the Conrad.

I'm local to Fort Lauderdale, but I don't eat out much so I can't provide recommendations. But if you're unfamiliar, there's also an area near Downtown Fort Lauderdale called Las Olas Blvd. It has small shops and lots of restaurants. Although you can easily drive there, you'll have to pay to park.
It's not the quickest way to travel, but you can take a water taxi from the Beach to the Las Olas area. You'll get a view of the yachts and expensive houses along the way.

Although I've never used it, there's also a cheap shuttle service that covers the Beach, Las Olas, and Downtown Fort Lauderdale. It's on-demand and should be cheaper than taxis or "ride share" services.
