I decided to petition JP Morgan to give me back my old nice heavy metal card, so I sent a secure message saying that
Mrs747FC and I were dissatisfied with the new card and asked that they print out some-style old cards for us (hoping they still had them in stock). Hope springs eternal!
Got a secure message returned today:
"Thank you for your feedback. 747FC, we appreciate your feedback about the design of your card. We understand that you are unhappy with the replacement cards you received for your JP Morgan Reserve Credit Card ending in XXXX. We would like to share that your current card is an embedded metal card that has a metal core between 2 layers of plastic. Unfortunately, the option to change the credit card design is not available. I have forwarded your feedback about the packaging of the card to our Development team for consideration. While no immediate changes can be made at this time, your feedback and suggestions will always be taken into consideration and may be included in future enhancements."
Perhaps if we all make a request, JP Morgan will understand the gravity of their decision
