New QF codeshare?!?!
In the memo, it stated QF will place its carrier code on HP operated markets LAX-PHX and LAX-YEG.
This is why it's very important for HP to build up it's LAX presence.
No FF mileage or .... will be permited due to QF's ONEWORLD alliance obligations (my guess is that QF has contracts/clauses that puts restrictions on how much codeshare involvement they are allowed to have with non-ONEWORLD airlines).
I would have to disagree. I don't think it's OW preventing mileage earning. BA codeshares with HP and you can earn HP miles on BA flights and vice-versa. This is probably a result of the negociations.
Now what I would like to see if HP find a South American airline like Varig or Lanchile to fill the HP gap in S.A market.
I was thinking the very same thing. I would prefer Varig since they fly directly to Brazil from LAX. Although, at this point I'd be happy with just about anyone.
