yes, I re-qualified in 2018 with base points. This due to a 3-week vacation paying for 3 rooms (2 rooms for friends).
in Nov 2019 I qualified for LT Globalist, earlier in 2019 I also spent 3 weeks of vacation paying for 3 rooms (again, 2 rooms for friends).
So that certainly helped, paying for multiple rooms.
I do not travel on business any longer since 2017, so previously it was on nights that I qualified, not on base points.
