jpezaris points are good. The LH Senator lounges are so much better than the Business lounge. LHR LH Senator lounge is a great example.

Access to the Star Alliance lounges internationally are a huge draw for me. SQ lounges in Singapore. NZ and SQ lounges in SYD. You have to be at the airport so early and the lounge is a nice place to wait.

The ability to jump the lines for checkin and boarding. Some places the lines are very long and chaotic.

When I fly OAL I am always reminded of the benefit of my *G status.
