Strangely feel like I’m heading the other way from Delta just because they either are insanely overpriced or just not right schedule wise. Latest example was flying home for thanksgiving and I’m pretty flexible as I could fly up work from home and fly back on the weekend but pricing out 3 days before and several close by airports Delta was 800+ for basic while AA was 390 for main. I seem to be finding it harder and harder to justify double or sometimes triple the price so while Deltas nice and still my airline of choice I’ve personally started opening up to whoever can get me there on the US big 3 on the time I need and for decent price.

Think another small portion of the decision rest In opening an AMEX platinum card recently which opened a huge amount of lounge access compared to only having the Delta lounge membership from diamond benefit so that has also made decisions a bit easier being able to still get sky club flying delta but Centurion or priority pass if available
