To summarise this thread filtered through my recent stay experience...

Pros

• Excellent a la carte breakfast
• Great location for leisure stay
• Good pricing considering said location

Cons

• Not much by way of amenities (gym, lounge, etc.)
• One solitary lift
• Upgrades relatively scarce

Rooms and common areas are fine. Clearly aging, but nothing to complain about.

I probably wouldn't return once London room rates increase again, but I was thrilled with how few points I paid for a hotel located across from Kensington Gardens...
