Got the new one yesterday. Complete trash.

the “brushed metal” look is actually (poor) printing designed to look like brushed metal. Whole card is then covered by some sort of clear poly. If you look closely you can see the granularity from printing process. Really poor printing job. Whole thing feels like plastic, except the edges where metal peaks through.

This card is a CSR or Amazon style card (with perhaps a little less poly or rubber-like coating over metal innards) pretending to be fully metal. Fairly tacky with its faux design.

J.P. Morgan and name are now debossed in the top-layer PVC or poly, not engraved.

csc now printed on much larger signature line, not engraved. Nothing is engraved.

weighs a lot less. CSR is about same.

whatever process they used now has the chip and touchless interior components leave a bulge or imprint on the back of card.

too bad. This used to be a unique, fun card. I’m a sucker for the aesthetic.
