I actually just had this the other day, the guy said he was off in 15 minutes. It def made me think 1) I HOPE he's really off in 30 minutes, but they're told to take calls up to that 30 minutes. Like I hope he's not working until 18:59 when he's off at 19:00 i mean. It also made me think 2) I wonder what the average call length is, because if you really are off in 15 minutes, what possible call could come in that you ARE equipped to wrap up in 15 minutes. Even a quickie YVR-CDG call is gonna take a few minutes.

I see your profile says 75k, do you get back to an agent pretty quickly? As I said above it ended up being 60 minutes this morning right after they opened and I hung up before I ever got to an agent, I'm calling now at 14:30pst and I've already been on hold 30 minutes, but this time they said higher than normal call volume.
I really wish they'd have a call back feature, but I suppose in this line of call centre there'd be lots of times where they call someone back and get nowhere.
To get a little closer back to on topic. Here's a question I'm wondering if anyone has tried.
Anyone tried booking 2 one way bounds, then calling in to stitch them together for 5,000 and a refund of other miles and taxes? I mean I know not EVERY 2 bounds would work, since you might violate the mileage and whatnot, but assuming you had 2 that would work, I'm still not sure they'd allow this, it would be nice if they did but I just assume they'd say they can't do that and they'd have to cancel both your tickets to try, which might result in lost award space.
