Actual SMART cards can be verified with these apps:

Every single non-Canadian SMART QR code works with this tool.
With QC, someone in QC tried to scan their code with the above tools and it returned an error. I tried to scan my California issued SMART code with the QC system and it errored. I just did the same with ONT's system, and it didn't work.
Before you buy any airline tickets, you probably want to make sure that your QR code actually will work. Because I strongly suspect singapore is just going to use the common scanner developed by the SMART people, they're not going to have one just for QC or just for ON.
Also, I have no idea why Canadian provinces are continuing to do this. Adopt a common standard and then break is just enough that it won't work in other provinces or the US seems wild to me.
ugh. Thanks.

although they are doing it because god forbid they do something that would prevent them from giving their local buddies some cash to develop it in the respective province. We do have a former drug dealer as the premier of Ontario. And not moderators this is not defamatory, it is a fact. And god for they cooperate.

Adder I used it and mine from ontario came up partially verified orange. Valid smart health issuer not recognized. Maybe not rolled out yet to database. It was only released yesterday in Ontario and only got my QR code today.
