I was "walked" this past summer from the San Jose Hilton to another hotel (I don't remember which one) about 5 blocks away. The manager was very apologetic and had already made the arrangements at the other hotel. I had been dropped off by my client, so the Hilton took me over to the other hotel in their shuttle and the driver carried my bags to the check in desk. I received full points for the stay though I paid no money out of my pocket to Hilton. Though I would prefer to stay at an Hilton family of hotels, being "walked" wasn't so bad for me.
