Hello all, due to a flight cancellation we now have a 26 hour layover in London. This brings up 2 problems - First, can our luggage be through checked to our final destination (MRS) and second, due to our longer stay, we have to purchase a Day 2 test, correct? We're pretty resigned to the testing obligation but the luggage issue is difficult, as neither of us are as mobile as we should be!

Thanks for your help, trying to avoid calling BA, and all searches are telling me that through checking bags only works for 24 hours or less.
