I think UA will revisit MAN service, but probably not until 2023. It's a notable cut... EWR-MAN has long been served by UA and CO before it. In fact, EWR-MAN was an early CO 777 route in the late 90s. After dropping the 777, it was double-daily 757 for a while, and in summer 2019 flew with a 767, the first WB service in a few years. AA, US and DL also had MAN service; all gone now, too. DL was due to return in 2020, but COVID shelved that, and I don't think there are plans for a service resumption.
