And to think that it was only about 22 or 23 years ago that I stepped into a jetway at ATL and was greeted by two Eastern Airlines FAs handing out baseball caps with 757 inside the EA "wings" symbol on the front along with brass medals commemorating the inaugural flight of the brand new 757. I was in FC and remember looking back as I entered and seeing the enormously long aisle in coach with the "sardine'" seating that I then and there vowed to avoid completely. I have largely succeeded in staying out of 757 coach purgatory over the years (until the advent of the wretched Song thing).
I gave the hat away to a kid on the beach in Barbados, but I still have the medal, which would probably fetch a few dollars if it were put on ebay.
