I have a work trip to San Francisco in two weeks and have a 24 hour period (Friday Afternoon to Saturday afternoon) where I wanted to book a nice resort. I was able to book both Alila Napa Valley and Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay for the Friday night on points. Normally Alila would win hands down, but I question whether I will get full value out of just 1 night's stay at the property. I would be leaving out of SFO at 4 PM, so I probably have to leave the property at 1 PM to be safe - not ideal. In contrast, I could leave Half Moon Bay prbably at 2 or even 2:30 PM,for a 4 PM flight. Anyone have thoughts here?
