You're sharing all surfaces in a hotel room with total strangers -- yes they allegedly change the sheets and such between guests -- and as soon as you sit on anything or walk barefoot it's where someone else's butt/feet was/were a day or two before, so I cannot get worked up about sterilizing everything in the room between guests. It's not possible. Drenching everything in sanitizer and disinfectant only makes for more resistant microbes. I never worried about it before COVID and don't worry about it now. Unless you are immune-suppressed or otherwise at risk, just stop with this pointless clean fetish.

That couch you're sitting on? People have had sex on it. Someone has sat naked on that desk chair. You don't even want to know where that hand-held shower head has been. Humans are gross; deal with it.
