Since AC is filling seats in record numbers, the faithful are not really all that important. After all the non FF is quite happy with a decent airplane that arrives more or less on time. They are much less demaning, and have a lower cost per head to service... no food, no booze, no lounge.
I'll reserve judgement on what to do until the 2005 AP program comes out, but one thing I learned the hard way last year is that I'll wait until the UG rules and eligible fares are published before I choose my package... assuming of course we will have a choice to make.
