Hi y'all. First time Flyer Talk poster here, but I couldn't find the answer in this after searching the forum for 15 minutes.

I need $1,317 MQD to reach my first medallion status. Does buying Delta gift cards (for myself) count as MQD spending?


Secondly, if those don't, is there any other way to reach MQD spending before the end of the year without flying just to spend $?

Finally, if I buy tickets for next year, does it count toward this year's MQD spending? Please forgive all the basic questions.
