But as far as I know, the FDA and CDC don't approve test providers, just test kits. I see they say "region" as well as "country". Does that mean I can look for a state or county approved test provider? I wasn't sure if they were just including "region" for places that aren't recognized as countries but operate like one. I see there is reference to labs certified by the College of American Pathologists, but so far I have been unable to find one nearby that offers RT-PCR tests (regular PCR would be too slow for the 48 hour requirement).
MY DD got a PCR test done in NYC. I think SQ US website has details about where you can get one done
