I'm in the market for some nice aluminum luggage to replace some old bags of mine. Wanted to know if anyone has experience with Aleon luggage and how they hold up compared to say Rimowa or Away luggage?
I'm looking for 3 primary bags...
- 1-2 night carry-on that ideally could fit under seat for quick business trips
- 3-4 night carry-on for both business and pleasure (this would most likely be my most used bag)
- 5-7 night bag for 1+ week trips (thinking max 26" is all I'd need)
I've bought a Rimowa original cabin aluminum bag and am in the return period but have recently discovered Aleon bags and am intrigued due their design... Mostly the fact that a lot of their designs are offered in 70/30 splits on their bags. They also seem to have very useful sizes compared to Rimowa/Away...
The bags aren't quite as aesthetically pleasing as Rimowa/Away but they are aluminum and from the little reviews/etc I've been able to read about them they seem to be pretty sturdy bags and the company seems to have good customer service (from what I can tell).
16″ Vertical Underseat Carry-On - Enough for an overnight trip?
17″ Deluxe Wheeled Business Case - Enough for an overnight trip?
19" International Carry-on - Seems good for 1-3 days maybe?
21″ Carry-On with Shirt & Pant Packer - liking that 70/30 split... seems ideal for 3-4 nights business travel
26″ Traveler with Suiter Checked - same 70/30 split, seems good for 1 week+ travel
Anyway if any of you have some experience with these bags I'd appreciate it! Pics would be great!
