Stayed at The House in Barbados recently. Very disappointing considering it is supposedly one of Elegant Hotel's flagship sites. Lots of work needed to bring the physical nature of the hotel up to standard and they are struggling to assimilate the "luxury all-inclusive" concept. Examples; same 4 lunch menu items every day, poor quality wines, many items such as the desert choices, mint for mojitos, "out of stock" etc. Lots of poor recent reviews on Tripadvisor.
